How many have come? Wow
Almost 200
We expected not more than 120 guests would come.
Only a few Japanese staffs working backstage made it so diffcult to prepare several kinds of tea and sweets at once.
Greek young volunteers worked exceptionally hard and helped us a lot.
Can you imagine how these young stars learnt to make matcha tea within 30minutes? This was their first experience to drink Japanese tea, not to mention to make matcha. It was amazing.
One of our staffs said again and again and again and again, "Kids did a good job! Without them, we couldn't do that."
The lady and the gentleman behind the Greek girl is making thick tea and the girl is preparing genmaicha (玄米茶 : green tea with roasted rice) and houjicha ( ほうじ茶 : roasted green tea) for tasting.
As a result, I found the Greeks liked genmaicha the most. Then to be surprised, thick tea ranked the second, thin tea the third and houjicha the forth.
